Anion exchange membrane, also called EDR cation exchange membrane, EDR ion exchange membrane, is an electrodialysis anion exchange membrane with high selective permeability, compact structure, good mechanical strength and chemical stability.

  1. Ion exchange capacity testing conditions:
    1. Temperature is 25 °C.
    2. Quality is relative to dry membrane.
  2. Wet thickness testing condition:
    1. Temperature is 25 °C.
    2. Balance in pure water for 48 hours.
  3. Specific electric conductivity testing condition:.
    1. Temperature is 25 °C.
    2. Solution is 0.5 M NaCl.
  4. Transport number testing condition:
    1. Temperature is 25 °C
    2. Solution is 0.5 M NaCl and 0.1 M NaCl.

Storage & Smart Tips

  • Keep the film be packed in a sealed condition and store it in a clean and dust-free place.
  • When you need it, just open the package and cut the membrane with a sharp blade.
  • Wear gloves and carefully handle the membrane.
  • Pick up and put down the membrane gently to avoid perforations, wrinkles, and scratches on the surface, otherwise, it may cause leakage.
  • Be sure there are no any sharp edges and corners, which will contact with membrane when pretreat and store the membrane.
  • In order to reduce the membrane wrinkle, the membrane is fully balanced in the water before cutting.
  • Keep the membrane in wet condition, avoid folding it and avoid contacting with oxidant, reducing agent and surfactant.
